Who God Is!

Have you ever wondered how magnificent the name of The Lord is? Do you even know His name? Consider the following passage from Exodus 3:13-15 “Then Moses said to God, “Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I will say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you.’ Now they may say to me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” God, furthermore, said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations.”

The name I AM WHO I AM is the name of our God. It is difficult to understand, yet so important. My God and your God wants you to know that He is I AM. It is His memorial-name (established so you will remember Him) for eternity, I AM WHO I AM, and if only you could realize who He is, then your life will make sense. Did you know that if you are struggling with your true identity, or with anything else, when you come to the realization of who God is – I AM, then you will discover your true identity because only in knowing who He is can you discover who you are. He is I AM and from that revelation flow all other adjectives added to His name. I AM God Almighty, I AM Savior, I AM Redeemer, I AM Healer, I AM Righteousness, I AM Holy, I AM Peace, I AM Provider, I AM Eternal, I AM Love, I AM Lord, I AM Omniscient, I AM Omnipotent, I AM Omnipresent, I AM the same yesterday today and forevermore, I AM He who was who is and who is to come.

You can add who God is to you to that name: I AM, that is why it is important to realize who He is. God is not simple to understand (you cannot fathom the depth of God with your mind and neither can you do so even in eternity because He is just too much, HE IS GOD!), and as you come to Him daily, He will reveal a new facet / dimension of Himself to you.

Here is a secret if you are going through any condition or situation right now, declare who GOD is to you in that situation and watch as He glorifies His name and becomes your God, the Living God who cares about what you are going through, the I AM WHO I AM in your life and situation.
